New Cardinal Center International Bunker Trap Fields

When I was at the Cardinal on Thursday I drove over to the Skeet Area to look at the 4 International Bunker Trap Fields that Jack's crew built. They weren't in when I was at the Ohio State but were started. Luke told me that they have plans to take out the other bunker on bank 4 and move it over to skeet. He also said the shoot they had after the SCTP went well. Pro Matic took care of the trap machines he said.

Also in the works is a plan to take out the swamp and build trap fields out in front of the Office building. By eye it looks like they can probably get 5 or 6 fields in between 4 and the practice traps and then add the 2 or 3 fields they need on the west end to get 2 more banks fairly easy.

With the international fields, the skeet fields, the rifle and pistol ranges, and the sporting courses I wonder how long it will be before the Olympic shooting training center will move to the Cardinal. I know that practicing at high altitude isn't doing the international shooters any favors.

If your at the Cardinal you owe it to yourself to take a drive and look over everything else, not just the trap range.
