It's hot and dusty .Hard to tell if it's up or down. There seems be be a lost in tent vendors by a large margin. I was there yesterday. They were using all the traps on the east end .The camp grounds were full.

 

News I heard from Dave Berlet yesterday is that Louie Morgan had to leave and come back to Ohio because his motel had bed bugs and he got bit up bad and has to see his Doc at home today. Don't know what motel or what town.

 

Mr, Morgan lead scoring our squad from post 5 on Saturday with a 100 and we all hoped that he would guide us to better scores on Sunday but he had to go home. He was a friendly squad member and all business on the line. We'd like to shoot with him again any time; he's a credit to Ohio, Trapshooting, and the Trapshooting Hall of Fame.

Bed bugs? Dam that would be an _itch! People think I'm paranoid but anytime I've been traveling, I leave all the luggage in the car after returning home, and then park the car out in the sun for at least a day and let it cook em. Then I drive to a local coin laundry and wash and dry all clothes there before taking them home.

 

My son in law works for an exterminating company and he has horror stories about hotels and bed bugs. The big hotels around airports are some of the worst. When they treat a room they have to close the rooms on all sides of the infected one for several days. He is paranoid about bed bugs. Brad

 

Anymore news on Louie? Where was he staying?

 

Someone said he was staying in Pinckneyville, IL hotel unknown.

 

There is only one motel left in Pville and its out by the interstate. Ran by a rude reddot indian.

 

Louie went home. The hotel was in Pinkneyville not Sparta. He told us when he got home he never went in the house. All his clothes went in a trash bag and out to the curb for the trash man. He said the guy gave his room money back. That is a cheap way out. Who is going to pay for the clothes, doctor etc bills. There is a chance his vehicle is infected etc. Will end up costing thousands of $$ before it is all over.

 

How are the doors at the HOF building holding up? How are they handling the humidity and rain? I remember the report of those things blowing open with wind gusts.

 

Also, has anyone seen Merlo? Did he sign the HOF Guest book again? Heard he is there.
