Visser May be the best "Surf Salt Water Reel" WATERPROOF? - my review #7 Cobalt Blue

I recently received and tested a Visser Surf Reel. It is the #7 which is next to largest. It is paired with a 10' Quantum Zeal. The finish and color is stunning.

I took the reel into the surf giving it the dunk test repeatedly. Sometimes I want to cast or swim to another sandbar. Rinse and repeat. Of course #7 Visser was hosed off after the trip.

Day 2. Was a trip for Redfish. The waves were shoulder high. #7 Visser was nearly drowned.

The reel has been under water 30 times now. It works perfectly. Water tight!
