It looks like VA has removed the CC reciprocity agreements with 25 states. One of the biggest issues is pointed toward those states that allow a citezin to conceal carry if they have recently had a DUI.
I certainly am not a prude, but I think VA made the correct move. A DUI is a serious charge, if the DUI is not recent. Sorry. But I can't answer your question, But everyone convinced me last season to use the autotrain instead of Driving to Florida by myself. After a long wait the train started...ten Minutes later there was a loud bang...a car load men (drunk). Drove on The tracks and were immediately killed. After 5 plus.hours we took off Again! I may be wrong. But I believe drinking and driving are bad I also think Drinking and shooting are equally wrong, and I have seen plenty of Both. Greta.....no one mentioned or took in to consideration drinking and shooting. The law has nothing to do with that. If you drank and drove .04-08 in some states you lose your gun rights. There is no mention about drinking and shooting. So were the guys armed that got ran over by the train? Were you afraid a drunk headless zombie would crawl out of the wreck with a gun? I know that Dusted Another doesn't know that my late beloved Husband was shot the same day that President Kennedy was. But that is why I am so against drinking and driving..our lives were Changed forever. Even with DUIs some people never change! Greta c.
Greta sorry you lost a love one for any reason. That said to say you dislike drinking and driving since you had a family member shot is baffling and without reason.
In PA a DUI conviction requires you in many counties to relinquish your firearms during your probation period. You will not be allowed to purchase a firearm either during that period as you will be denied through the NICS system. After that, your rights are restored unless your acquire multiple subsequent DUI's.
I guess i am baffling and a lot of other things, but I still believe: No drinking and driving and no drinking and shooting, no one can. Make me agree otherwise. Wreck a car lose your car license. Commit a crime with a gun or a felony you lose the gun. Get run over by a train in a car you die and lose your license. Losing a loved one does not make those topics intersect.
