Does using a Remington Nitro hull, a Winchester 209 primer, Remington TGT 12S wads and 18 grains of 700x work?

loads for 700x are 24 grams ........worth a call to ensure safe.

I've loaded 700X in the past but did not like that powder in the 7/8 ounce load. Then I discovered a powder called e3. Been loading it ever since. Great powder for 7/8 ounce loads.

I load 7/8 oz. in Remington hulls using 15.9 or 16 grains of 700X. I think 18 grains is overkill, but then I'm using Federal 209A primers.

As old682x said, 16 grains of 700X is a more reasonable load and is what I use.

Agree that 16 is more reasonable and economical........cheddite primers also work with that load. I called, they said it was safe.
