The receiver is pictured in a Krieghoff K80, Cat1, #3 Sporting stock, nuetral to RH/LH shooters. DAC is 1-5/8", DAH is 2-5/8" with a LOP of 14-3/8". Stock is in new condition - not one scratch, dent, or ding. The original, professionally maintained and serviced triggers snap at just under 4lbs. The gun operates flawlessly, and the receiver locks-up like a bank vault.

Included is a 34" top single, choked Full. Professionally fit to the receiver but not serial number matching. Like the O/U, the barrel is tight, operates smoothly, and locks-up like new. Pictured with the Top Single is the original stock. DAC is 1-3/8", DAH is 1-7/8", LOP is 14-3/8" with a standard Kick-Eeze pad. This stock does NOT come with a pad. The stock is in good condition with no cracks or scaling in the finish. It shows as should be expected for its age.

The bluing on the receiver, top latch, and both barrels is outstanding and shows the care and light use this gun has been afforded its entire life. The deep, San Remo engraving is in excellent condition on all surfaces, including the front barrel hanger.

Comes with a single barrel hard case, no additional accessories.
$8,800, shipping & insurance additional, at cost. Gun is located in Lancaster County, PA, and can be seen/shot prior to purchase.

is the extra bbl a san remo engraved bbl?
is that a crown bbl hanger on the o&u unit?

Neither barrel is engraved. To my knowledge, barrel
engraving starts at the Monte Carlo, or even perhaps
Crown level. I have two Remo's and neither has barrel
engraving. So, no, the top single has no engraving. As
to the hanger - that's a darn good question. I can't tell you
if it's specific to a certain "grade", if it's original...or
was added by the previous owner because it's pretty. I've
attached two close-ups, perhaps someone can advise. Thanks
    for looking!

    the hanger is certainly nice.

btw, factory san remo bbls are engraved along the top of the breech area, just a thin line of it on both sides. i know mine is. 5000 series.
i cant see it in your pics though.

I don't believe that San Remo's are signed. I have a good friend with a Monte Carlo and I can't find any initial's on it...

    Thanks Rolexdr!

MCTS is correct. Strangely, Krieghoff doesn't
even keep such records - at least not on Remo's
    I own.

on the bbl engraving....since my gun is 500 miles away, look at your top latch. see the engraving on the sides? picture it continuing along the bbl when its locked up. thats where it would be. but keep in mind, not every engraver had the same style. some may and some may not have it.

Yes! I've seen that. It's a very nice touch. I have
two of these, one #'s matching (the one for sale)
and one not #'s matching - neither have that feature.

San Remo grade M-32's are wonderful shotguns just as they were produced. If you want to spend a bit of the kid's inheritance money, convert to K-80 trigger assembly, guard and fancy custom English walnut K-80 wood set. So done, I wouldn't trade that for any mid-grade K-890. O.P: Your San Remo is lovely and will provide someone with several lifetime's of use (that's how the kids get their inheritance money back you spent on the upgrade!).GLWS. P.S.: Not many San Remo grades ere signed by engraver; at least not any in my safe.

I have one of those too, Boss, all but the trigger guard. And you're right,
this is one my son's (both fine shooters) can sort out when I'm gone...lol. 20230908_142643.jpg

I can testify re: the engraving on the barrel hanger. I once purchased a Crown Grade four barrel set from Robert Paxton. (Barrels only). When purchased none of the barrels were serial numbered. When I bought them, at my request, Paxton added the serial number from my San Remo (59XX) to each of the barrels. The barrel hangers were all engraved in the same manner as the one pictured by OP. Sad to say I sold the barrel set to a friend (and he refuses to sell it back to me.).
