Over the years i have owned and shot many 1100 trap guns with shooting approx. 60/40 poi for me.I purchased a safe queen 12 ga 30" step rib, straight stock 40 thousands choke shot approx. 75 times in original box i believe manurfactured in the 80'sGun is 98%+. The problem is this gun shoots 80/20 i can't shoot a high shooting gun.Other than putting an adj.comb what can i do to get it down 60/40. Where their many high shooting 1100's. Thank you Gary
You own a diamond-learn to shoot it! If you see a figure-8 sight picture don't waste your money on an adjustable comb-that only works if you see some space between the beads. Try one of your other barrels that shoot flat on that gun and see if there's any difference. It's either the comb is higher than you're used too or you somehow acquired a high shooting 1100 barrel. I'll stick with my #1 idea.
Pretty rare barrel! Why not just swap her out to a guy who wants a high shooter? Should only take a few minutes!
If you shoot a trap target on time it moves up 6 inches before the shot gets there. An 80/20 poi puts the target in the center of the pattern's core. If you can't hit a trap target with that set up you are riding them out to where there is no rise which is totally wrong.
