A real beauty. Perfect restored Francotte 14. Box lock. Damascus 12 ga. 26 inch barrels. 2.75", perfect bores both at .731. Choked Rt. .000 and Lt .000.Double trigger. I cannot find any nitro proof marks. Auto safety. Non-ejector. Vivid case colors. Wonderful Acanthus engraving. The gun is overall 95% restored.
I have shot 2.5" low pressure shells through it. without problems. You would need to confirm with your gunsmith, like I did, that these barrels are safe. However, why do that at all when you have the best of both worlds. You have fitted light weight full length Briley tubes with four screw in flush chokes. Skeet, I.C., Mod. and full. Choke wrench, Hammer, and the knocker outer tool. Perfect quail or grouse gun. Shoot all the modern 2.75" ammo you want through these 20ga. tubes. The beauty of Damascus barrels with the safety of modern, "removable sleeving." 14.25 LOP. DAC 1 5/8". 7 pounds 12 ounces with tubes in. Lock up is double bite with third fastener of Greener cross bolt with dolls head rib extension. Cased.
