For Sale: Near new Krieghoff K80 RT Four barrel Skeet Set...SOLD

Back up for sale is my K80 RT Skeet 4-barrel set. This receiver/iron, wood, and spare trigger was purchased unfired in January 2022 and an excellent 4-barrel skeet set was added. I shot it off and on at my local club for about eight months until I decided I needed to switch to a smaller and lighter frame gun because of age.
RT is the removal trigger model that I believed was manufactured from 1991-1993 and according to the serial number this is a 1992 manufacture.
The stock has a slight RH cast with palm swells on both sides. I’m lefthanded and the rib lines-up for me by moving the adjustable comb 1/8” to the left. LOP with the 15/16” Kick-Ezz is 14 ½”. The original pad (included) makes it 14 3/8”. There are a few very small surface marks in the wood.
The trigger in the gun has a gold blade and the spare trigger has a nickel blade, and includes a trigger case and removal tool. Both triggers are pull/pull. I have owed four K80’s, and four RT models and now a K20, and I have always found the RT trigger to be superior with a slightly faster lock time than the standard K80 (and for sure the K20) The downside to the RT trigger is that it takes an excellent gunsmith (Phillips) to make it into a release.
The four barrels, 12, 20 28, and 410 are 28”, fixed skeet/skeet. The 12 gauge has a different serial number than the other three which have matching numbers. All barrels have been shot very little and have excellent bluing.
The Negrini four barrel case was purchased in January and will accommodate up to 30” barrels.

Interesting note: The K80 RT was bought for a high school student by his brother-in-law at !:00PM today and he shot his first 25 and 50 in skeet this afternoon in 20-25mph wind.

 

Came close to buying this gun. Happier that the young man got it rather than me!
