Could someone just guide me through this issue after an accident at work

The legal side felt simpler after I separated notice issues. If the problem involved a scaffold, I put it first in the Scaffold Law bucket. If the issue sounded more like a specific safety rule, I put it in the Section 241 bucket. For that construction-law point, I saved https://sueworkclaim.com/how-to-prove-notice-liability/ with the construction folders. A different bucket is control of the work area, where the key fact may be who had authority. The tool or machine can be the real source of the problem, because a manufacturer issue is different from missing notice. I kept the workers' comp claim separate from the liability side of the accident, because they can involve different rules and different proof. Knowledge of the hazard matters more when the case turns on a floor, opening, debris, or another site condition. Once height, Code rules, site conditions, equipment, and notice were separated, the accident became a clearer decision tree.
