Remington's first 20ga 1100 was built on a 12 ga frame and this particular gun was manufactured in the late 70s early 80s to the best of my knowledge. I'm the second owner and bought it from a friend that has since died. I had it for awhile and one day I was shooting with a friend of mine that had the new Remington Competition Model with the adjustable Carbon Fiber stock and forearm. I realized that that 12 ga stock and forearm would fit my Std 20 ga 1100. I ordered the stock set from Remington and sent the barrel to Keen Sights in Ca. to have them install an elevated rib to shoot 60/40 with the beads stacked. That was a few years ago and I have not shot much since then. This is a unique gun and will shoot as good as you can shoot. $1250.00 shipped to lower 48 states. See pictures.
