Going thru some of my powder inventory I found an 8# bottle of WST. I found several published loads for 1 oz shells - varying from 1175 fps to 1225 fps and pretty low pressures (8,900 and up). I'll be loading REMINGTON Gun Clubs and Claybuster CB-1100 wads with Cheddite primers. My manual calls for 19.5 grains. It takes a #30 bushing to get that powder weight. I loaded some up tonite and plan to shoot them tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if they will cycle my autoloaders - Remington 1100, Winchester Super X1, and Beretta Tekneys 391.

My plan is to use them for skeet, 16 yard trap, and sporting clays. Wondering if anyone is using WST ?

    TIA

I have used WST in the past when I was loading 12ga. Win AA hull, CF and HS. Around 19 grains, RXP12 wad, Win 209 primer. This was a 1190fps load. Soft shooting.

I load 19.7 grains, Cheddite primer and CB wad which, by the book is about 1235 FPS. Smokes targets but to my mind it's very dirty.
