Was 2020 a good year for trapshooting? The ATA Executive Director must have accomplished some goals set by someone. I am not sure who set the goals for the ED. Ask your Delegate. Below is the form 990.

    I report. You decide.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit. I WOULD like to know what the $10,221.00 NON TAXABLE amount was for. Geeez, it isn’t bad enough they pay this guy a big salary and a bonus but they have to try a “work around” for another 10K?

Yeah, I’ll pay my dues to re-up with this outfit. Un frigging believable.

This is from the 2019 990, which covers tax year 2018. 2020 hadn't happened yet. When this form was filed, no one had ever heard the word 'Covid'.

Not a workaround at all. Possibly non-taxable health benefits but likely an employer contribution to a defined retirement plan like a 401k.

You get health benefits and retirement contributions from your employer, right?

Nope, was self employed. And after the whole gipson “ I found us a building, I just have to tell a buddy of mine so he can buy it first” deal I wouldn’t trust gipson OR the ata.

And you know what? I think his salary is way above his worth and him getting any kind of bonus is laughable. The only thing this guy “promotes” is himself.

There are significant tax benefits for individuals who are self employed for health insurance and retirement contributions. I suggest you talk to a good accountant, maybe you'll save enough to shoot the Grand next year.

Cute, nice try. You asked if I got benefits from my employer. When I told you no you want to go with that sad old “ maybe you can go to the grand” next year crap. Missed the part about gipson not being worth spit?

Are you actually that stupid to try and imply the reason I don’t go to that white elephant in the middle of BFE is I can’t afford it? Really? You want to go there?

Since 3/20/20 my wife and I have traveled over 30k air miles. Mainly to casinos in FL. That is on top of the few thousand driving miles to other gaming properties closer to home.

Do you really think the reason I wouldn’t give the ata one cent is due to lack of money? That’s hilarious

As far as getting a “good accountant” ?

How in the hell do you think we can go on all these trips?

Like I said, nice try. LOL
