Is the barrel a flat taper or step rib as you described?
The orange PC wad definitely will give you more room, but 232 grains is max for NSSA rules. Never tried the replacement wad that Downrange offers....
He is using the CB wad. Read his first post.
You can't get that much shot in a 2 1/2" hull. You should be able to get 232 grains which is .53 oz.

I have been using HS6 for years and before that Win 540, which is the same powder. I use the Win CF hulls and get at least 10+ reloads.

The wiggle of hulls is not as bad as you think. If you are using the auto index, just go slow.

Bob, I am assuming you want to load 12ga with Win571. The only loads that I show are 1 3/8 and 1 1/2oz loads. Also Win 571 is the same as HS7.
