I got a clean MEC 600 Jr from a guy at the club to sell but I don't think it's worth much. It has all the parts and cycles good but it's 10g with a fixed powder weight charge bar. I looked it up and it might drop 58 g of ALCAN 8 powder. This is the cleanest little press I have ever seen. I bet she never loaded one shell. Can she work OK with a modern charge bar? Is this worth trying to sell? 1. Is it worth selling or becoming a paperweight? 2. Will she work OK with a modern bar?
Get a charge bar and whatever bushings u might need--however: with the cost of components IMHO no reason to reload unless u are doing sub gauge 28 ga or .410 or looking for a specific load
is your code....10g, mean 10ga? if so, get a 2 3/8 lead charge bar for it. thats the most common 10ga load. then sell it.
Yes, it's a 10g bar. I bet I can put some hurting on those orange clay things I see flying around with 2-3/8 ounces of lead pellets.
