I have a Win Mdl 21 SN of 247XX

    I have misplaced my information on when that might have been made. Skeet set-- later had another barrel added

    I know there can be some variance

    Any thoughts?

    Can’t post it on here but there’s a website where you plug in the Winchester Serial Number and it will bring the year up for you. Google it- it’s not terribly hard to find.

    Gene,
    I have a site in my favorites that I’ve used for years to check serial numbers. From what I can see, that 247xx number was from 1951 or their abouts.

    I also have the site where you plug in a number but that serial number comes up as “out of range(high).
