If I purchase the Mossberg 935 it will be used for turkey hunting only with 3.5" shells. I've been reading that the gun jams with light loads, but no problems with 3" or 3.5" and it patterns great.

Lots of jamming issues with mossbergs not only the 935. We dont sell any mossbergs any more the 500 had issues with firing when slamming pump forward.

I got one for a turkey gun, shot nice with a turkey barrel and choke. I have the waterfowl barrel, but I haven't tried it yet- I have a weaver mount and a red dot scope on it now, and I liked having it ready to go for turkey season.

I should switch out and shoot it a little before the season ends. Been toting around the old 3" 870 for birds this year.

By the way, you probably already know, but the 935 will supposedly not cycle anything less than magnum loads. Not an issue for me, but in case you are looking for a double duty gun for sporting clays.

I have the 3 inch 930 and it is a great gun.

I had one 7-9 years ago, ok gun. The 935 is really only meant for 3" and 3.5" loads, no 2.75". Mine would cycle heavy 1.25 ounce 2.75" magnum loads but not common trap loads. I put about 1000 rounds of varying ammo through mine in 2 years, never a problem.

When I was a young boy I remember my dad telling me to never own a Mossberg. He said they were just plain junk and he also said and furthermore don’t let anyone ride in your truck that has one. I will never forget that and I pretty much stayed true to it also.
