I recently purchased two guns from the Tom Seitz estate from his daughter. This trigger was from an all numbers matching gun. I have had some release triggers over the years and this trigger is as good as it gets. The set and release are seem less. There is no huge set click and the release is butter smooth. Bluing is about 80%. There are a couple of adjustments on the back of the engagement sear- not sure what they do but if I was a release shooter I’d have them welded where they are. 700.00 for a this trigger built by one of the best gunsmiths to walk planet earth. I’ll pick up the shipping tab.

FWIW I bought an original seitz that was virtually brand new (#22) and that gun had a release in it that felt the exact same way as this does with seamless set and let off so smooth it felt like it had roller bearings.

Do you know set and release weights?

According to my zebco fisherman’s de-liar it’s either 3 1/2# set 1 3/4# let off or 3 1/4# set -2# let off. If it was a pull I could weigh it on digital Lyman but have no way of reading let off on the digital scale. Trigger is damn smooth. Let me know if you would like to proceed.

I have a Seitz release trigger that I use with my TM9XL. I also have a Precision release trigger as well. I prefer the Seitz coil spring vs. the Precision. It seems crisper to me and a faster lock time. You can trust Little Gambler. He has been around a long time. I believe he is in his seventies now. Wise old dude.

Trigger is too nice to let it sit and collect dust.
