SKB Japanese 585 trap combo 32/34" very clean ! SOLD

SKB Trap Combo shot very little, beautiful wood, nickel receiver, 32" O/U, 34" top single with screw-in chokes. F, IMP MOD, MOD, LMOD. this was referred to as the new Manufactured SKB, top cross bolt lock up system, very strong and expensive to produce. I have a couple other Japanese SKBs made guns there great, 385 SxS 85tss combo. The combo I'm selling is in excellent condition shows virtually no use, a few slight handling marks perfect for someone moving up in the game that wants a high quality gun and not break the bank. $ 1750.00 plus $35.00 shipping.

They were one of the oldest gun manufacturers right behind Beretta.

 

I shot one of these 585 COMBOS for a long time and it was GREAT .!!!!! Replaced (1) hammer spring in OVER 20,000 rounds. IF my budget would allow it ,I would buy this in a HEARTBEAT .Joe

 

Okay, here is how it works. A buddy of mine who was a great shooter, just started late. Don was the general manager for a local GM dealer and on his desk was a yardstick (1" to 72 ") when an older guy would come looking to by a Corvette or the Camaro he always wanted but was starting to get a little buyers remorse Don would ask the guy how old he was the guy might say 68 then Don would refer to the ruler on his desk he would say to the prospective buyer that the ruler represents a males average life span from one year to 72 years then he would say to the guy you have already used up 68 years on that ruler of life and you only have 4" left - most of the time the guy couldn't sign fast enough. Don't hold yourself back better buy that shotgun that you've always wanted.

I'm passed the end of the ruler need to dump some guns.

Has the stock and forarm been refinished? LOP? Any righthand cast?

 

LOP 14-1/2" - decelerator butt pad replaces the curved factory pad no other changes. as is right from the factory. Cast is fairly neutral maybe a little cast off. The stocks have not been touch as is from factory almost as new, high 90s condition. Spent most of its life in the gun safe, saw a few hundred rounds down range.
