brian and bob colo are here.
rex is in town.

 

frank is coming by to watch and maybe shoot. he says he may not be able to last the whole match, but will try.
and he is going to the trout farm.

 

cliff showed up just to say goodbye and left after the turkey shoot. so, that counts as a no show.
ive met some strange people over the years. this one ranks up there but wasnt the first. had bill and his wife come by from tenn to say goodbye. shook my hand and said he didnt feel good and left.
crazy world.
bob L had a prior engagement so he left early and dnf'ed.
we ended up with 7 going to the trophy match.
jeff won it again!
colo bob took hoa/1st, duck boat, and the annie oakley.
good time had by all.
we had 4 shooters go to the trout farm.

What a great shoot. I had lots of fun & even broke a few clay pigeons.

 

just a quick reminder to my friends, its official. i am a mo. resident now.
that means if there are any guns on my list that youre interested in, just say the word and we can do ftf's now.

also too, if anyone wants a trap machine for their back yard........come and get it. see my ad in this vanzant forum for details.

 

the future of my range is basically going back to a 'call and come' operation for skeet or trap.
i will still offer my range as a lease to any group desiring a retreat.............but all of it will revolve around MY schedule........not yours. many know my situation.
for over a decade, ive bent like a willow to accommodate everyones (other) plans in order to appeal to the attending shooters. even so, we got many complaints. i wouldnt mind all that much, but 33% never even showed up!
so sorry folks, those days are over.
my range card will go back into use. get it at the counter. buy 10, get one free. card acts as a membership card until its used up.
call...and i'll work you into my calendar.
do i honestly plan on having calls?
not really.
we use to be open 24/7 for 7 years and had few callers.
the sport is dieing if not dead already.
such is life.
