Check with your insurance first. Youth had one at our club. Said no more, moved to the next club and blow up a gun first night.
What you think is fun and games might look different to your insurance agent, most clubs can't afford a lawsuit,
I don't understand... What caused the gun to blow up? Was it the black lights or the youth or the next club? Please try to be more specific so I know what to avoid when I shoot at clay targets under black lights.
sounds to me like its hard to identify the right shell going in or checking the bore of the gun w/o a good view of it?
20-gauge shooter switching over to his buddies 12-gauge gun, the old story 20 in a 12 -But pitch black you can't look down the barrel, couldn't find it on the ground, range office standing10 feet away couldn't see what's going on.so just drop another shell in-- BANG -- Lost one club to a lawsuit so if you are going try black light, make sure your insured for it.
They do it at Cosner Reserve Sporting Clays here in NC. You could contact them to see what they use. You will have to look up their contact info, since rules prohibit posting links.
