Why is it called a Comp4? I have the same gun and the factory card says TMS....

These guns were advertised in their catalogues as Competition 4. Basically the same gun as TM 1 only striped receiver and choke tubes.

Interesting. I wonder why they didn't put that on the factory card?

I believe that when Winchester began handling Perazzi, the choke tube model was listed as the TM S back to the standard receiver.
I have no idea why they stamped their receivers simply TM 1?

tms indicates it has factory choke tubes, Comp 4 includes the striped receiver. could be the all started as tm1s .

The paperwork with it shows it as an Ithica product. It was imported by them.

Yes top flat of one of the sides of the receiver is stamped TM from the factory.

Ok so took a couple pics, receiver is stamped TM1 so I assume all Comp1 or TMS designated guns TM1's as I have always said and heard.....

The OP selling the gun is algebra1. He put up some nice pictures.

Another poster put a picture of HIS gun, with an adjustable stock, on algegra1's For Sale thread.

You thought THAT stock was on the gun for sale. Understandable

That's why the site asks that if you are not part of the sale to stay off the thread.

Good price for a quality (Perazzi) made trap shotgun. Older model, but top of line.
