Something new to our area - black light shoot

    Last Saturday night(03-14-26) Western Ohio Fish and Game St. Marys, Ohio had a black light shoot. 10 16yd and 15hdcp based on your 16 score. The little program was very well received with about 75 entries. The scores didn't run real high with 22 being high followed by 19 and 17 was 3rd high score. What I thought that was very encouraging was I would guess that around half of the entries were folks aged 20 to 30 and were not regular organized trapshooters. I believe there is another program scheduled next month, but I am not sure of the date. I believe that this is an event that may help get some new people interested in our shooting sports in general and trapshooting in particular. Quite a few folks won some money and it seemed like every one was having a good time. I'm looking forward to the next black light shoot, so come on out and have some fun and an enjoyable evening. Maybe some one can fill in the next date?

    It was a fun time, you definitely need to know where your gun is shooting!
