Random draw for banks at the Cardinal Center? Is it happening this year?

Last year the scoop was RJ would not run a shoot with random draw for banks. If RJ is gone then there is no excuse right?

 

Now that the curtain is down and there are differences in the backgrounds, I think a random draw would be a fair way to handle things. When I was shooting registered, I always enjoyed clubs that used a draw for bank system. Michigan and Indiana State shoots, Middletown back in the day, Jaqua’s, etc. It’s not perfect and it does cause some other issues, but I think it’s worth it. Many of today’s shooters are more concerned with how conveniently located their bank is to their camper or parking spot. That strikes me as odd given the number of golf carts and SxS being used. One thing is for sure, regardless of the bank assignment method, you won’t make everyone happy.

 

I don't think the CC leadership or the new Tournament Director is capable of managing draw for banks system. Only that it is a new idea at the CC.
