Hi, I have a Pacific (Hornady / Pacific ?) 105 in 20g. I would like to convert it to .410g. Did Pacific, or Hornady ever offer a conversion kit for this machine in .410 ? Would Hornady have such a thing today, or should I just hope that someone on here has one for sale? Thanks Dave

The DL105 is a relatively inexpensive press, I would think that a new machine would be a better choice. However I don’t believe that press was ever offered in .410 (12, 16, 20 only ) at least according to old parts lists. The DL 155 was made in .410 as well as the 100, 250, & 266. These are the single stage Pacific presses that appear to have been made in .410. I have personal experience with the 250 and 266 which are both lifetime machines except for replacing wad guide fingers. They are simple to operate, reasonably fast and produce factory like results. I still load for dove season on my 250 in 20 ga. and my 1965 REM. 1100 standard weight had never malfunctioned once in 56 seasons. I still have a 250 in 12 ga. But have sold 266’s in 28 & 410. I would think that any of the Pacific single stages in .410 would make you happy as the have similarities to the 105 and will serve you well. These presses pop up at club bulletin boards and on eBay from time to time. Good luck.
