I think he was a Revolutionary. A "useful idiot" so called by leaders of the Marxist/Leninist making a play for control of the U.S. You can see them in roles all across the country, in the political and law enforcement ranks, as well as their minions on the streets. Minneapolis is just the most glaring right now.
To borrow a phrase from the Vietnam era, we have "zips in the wire." And I'm not talking about immigrants.
