Need Some Help on Cleaning Up a Couple of real nice knives-???

I've always had Randall Made Knives from Florida...I got rid of most of them. However I kept 2 sentimental ones of my Dads. They are fighters , great condition but need cleaning of the brass and the snaps on the leather from mold or whatever.
We used to use a pad in our store that worked great to clean brass on knives.
Any ideas for easy clean up of both the hilts and sheaths without discoloring the stuff???

Wright's cooper or brass cleaner. We have a copper kitchen hood, it was a bitch to clean until we found Wright's.
