    Howard C. "Red" Wiedrick

    Macedon - Red passed away on July 27, 2018 at age 87. He was born in Lyons, NY to the late Howard and Leona Wiedrick. Red was also predeceased by his wife, Ruth Wiedrick. Survived by his daughter, Ellen (Dennis) Benjamin; son, Barry "Bucket" (Michele) Wiedrick; grandchildren, Kathryn Fadden, Brian (Amanda) Wiedrick and Emily (Justin Dean) Wiedrick; great grandchildren, Vanessa, David III and Abigail Fadden; sister, Susan Jane Hoppe.

    Red was a past member of the Macedon Masons. He was a lifetime member and past president of the Walworth Gun Club and a member of Newark Gun Club. A member of New York State Trap Association, New York State Powerboat Association and a Veteran Division Doubles Champion. Red was an avid boater, fisherman, hunter, trap and pistol shooter and charter boat captain. He loved crossword puzzles and playing card games on his computer. Red loved woodworking and made many items including furniture, toys, and carving boards.

    Family and friends may gather for calling hours from 10 AM - 1 PM on Saturday (August 4) at Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 1040 Rte. 31, Macedon, NY 14502. Interment in Macedon Village Cemetery. Contributions in Red's memory may be directed to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S.
