Miroku MK-38 Trap. This is a euro-model gun that was imported as a one-off and was never available at retail in the US. For those that don’t know, this gun is 100% mechanically identical and interchangeable with a currently made Citori. The only difference I can see is that the receiver engraving “grade” is about one step higher, this is considered a Grade 1 for a Miroku, but would be a Grade 3, or b/w a Grade 1 & 3 for a domestic Citori. The “Trap” designation refers to the fact that this gun has a higher, nearly parallel comb, and beavertail forend, and is designed for bunker trap or DTL, which use flat shooting guns, this is not a high shooting ATA gun by any means. The only difference between this and their “sporter” is the sporter has a lower, more sloped comb and a schnable forend. Gun was made in 2014, and has Belgian proof marks as well as British reproof marks which are subsequent to the choke installation. Stock measures 1-3/8" DAC, 1-21/32 DAH, and 14-23/32" LOP with trigger in position as pictured. Stock is almost perfectly neutral, it has the tiniest amount of right hand cast, the least I've ever seen in a Browning/Miroku, and no palm swells, easily shootable by right hand or left hand shooters.

32” Invector Plus bore (.737”) barrels, which were originally fixed choke. The barrels subsequently had Teague thinwall chokes installed. Includes the following chokes: .005 x 2 (extended), .015 x 2 (extended), .025 (extended), .035 (extended) and .040 x 2 (flush), so 8 chokes total, 6 extended two flush, plus the Teague wrench. This assortment of chokes ought to have you completed covered for just about anything you can conceivably do with a shotgun, and if you need something else Teague can make them for you pretty reasonably. This is about as do-all of an o/u as ever has existed, use it for skeet, trap, sporting clays, FITASC, helice, flyers, ect. Rib is dead flat, and tapers slightly from the receiver to just past the chambers, then is 10mm parallel the whole way down. Fiber optic front bead, and mid-bead has been removed.

The fact that these are Inv+ bores, but were originally fixed choke, gives this gun ENTIRELY different characteristics to a run of the mill Citori. Barrels weigh 1490 grams with the extended .015 chokes in, which is unheard of with a domestic Inv, Inv+, or probably even an InvDS set of barrels. To me, this gun feels and swings like a Citori 20ga. It comes in at 7.656lb as shown, and balances right where the wood meets the forend metal on the muzzle end, or about ¾” ahead of the hinge. A roll or so of nickels in the stock bolt hold would bring the balance to the hinge and the weight close to 8lb. This gun is essentially a poor mans Krieghoff Parcours. A Precision Fit stock brings the balance to the hinge and the weight to 8.5-8.625lb, making it a poor mans Parcours X.

This gun originally had a field style fixed trigger and trigger guard. I installed the typical Citori adjustable trigger bracket and trigger guard. It currently has a Krieghoff/Kolar style curved 3d printed stainless steel trigger blade that I designed and had made. It’s a huge improvement over the feel of the OEM blades, but it does increase the grip to trigger distance if that’s a concern. One caveat is that the trigger guard has to be removed to remove my blade from the bracket, so if you’d prefer to have the Browning blade installed, I can do that prior to shipment.

Top lever is right of center, and gun appears to have seen relatively little use. Gun has been detail stripped, ultrasonically cleaned where practical, and had new mainsprings, firing pins, firing pin spring, and top lever spring installed. Gun has 100 shells through it since the serviced and functioned flawlessly. Wood has some dents and dings, and there are some scuffs and marks on the barrels, but I would say is in better than average condition for a used gun, no cracks or missing wood. Pachmayr Decelerator sporting pad, pad screw holes are a little chewed up but pad is perfectly functional. Includes the original used parts that were removed (perfectly serviceable it just made sense to put fresh ones in when the gun was completely apart). This also includes a bunch of extra spare parts that I ordered from Browning.

This is truly a do-all gun, in excellent condition, and ready to provide decades of service! This will ship in the vintage Hoppes Protecto Kaddy takedown gun case as shown. Only reason I'm selling is I have to finally be honest with myself and admit that me and a break action 12ga just aren't meant to be, and I'm not built to handle recoil. I did run a 25x25 at skeet with the gun though LOL.

Shipping will be by USPS Registered Mail, which is a bit on the slow side, but is the most secure method to ship anything.

    $2875 shipped in CONUS

I have more pics I can send, didn't want to clutter the thread.
