Exchange Student from Germany Visits the Buckeye

Seated on the left is Jo. She is an Exchange Student from Germany. I asked her what she thought about all these guns everywhere.

She said they don't have the guns like us Americans but she is "getting more comfortable with it." She said the thing she found most interesting was the "strange gun statistics in the U.S." She noted that the cities with most crime seem to have the strictest gun laws.

She said she feels "very comfortable with all these people competing with them." I asked her how she feels about the use of firearms for self defense...she said she is "OK with that."

She says her Exchange Family will be staying the whole week. We agreed to continue the interview after she sees all the SCTP kids competing on Saturday. I expect that will be eye opening for her. There will be nearly as many kids as adults.
