The big name shooters were not given their special preferred banks and times. Random selection of banks. What a concept?

I doubt the OSTA was paying attention.

The Big Names didn't dominate the shoot. I saw several checking their lens selection for a new background.

I beleive the OSTA has asked for random bank draw before but RJ Stuart said no. Could be wrong but seems as though RJ says what goes there when it comes to squadding. Won’t even open up flights until the event starts if the first flight isn’t filled. Great event and loved the SOS clays scoring system compared to the dinosaur.

    Good afternoon,
Curious what you mean by big names didn't dominate? the three 98s were shot by: Ian Lawrence- Finished 6th in the HOA, just won the HOA at the US Open, Resident HOA at Illinois State shoot. Ryan Glow- Finished 3rd in the HOA, Lone 100 in doubles championship, AAA Champ with 200, Won the HAA, Reigning HAA champion at the grand. Jack Knaus- Finished 8th in the HOA, 2021 HOA Champion at the grand. Those three seem like pretty big names to me. Furthermore, looking to the 97s I see some other big names such as Keith Ditto, Wyatt Debrie, Chris Vendel. Seems to me that whatever lens selection they decided on sure worked!

Winners didn't include Ricky Marshall or Joe Charnigo. 97's didn't win and thus didn't dominate. Not everyone shot a 98 and there weren't any 100's.

    Illinois placers. lol.

Better lens maybe there could have been straight 100's. Unpredictable banks will result in lower scores.
