Curious.....who is the leader(s) of the trapshooting world?

I can remember when we had many great shooters that were leaders, and I can remember when we had great statesmen in the sport of trapshooting.

Who are the leaders now?

Someone please name a few.

The leaders of trap shooting in the day were made up of money shooters, beer drinkers, card players, and more than one woman chaser. They played hard, shot hard, and lived hard. Most were working men, company owners, and firearm industry connected in one way or another. More than one was a little shady and not always on the side of law enforcement, that being said they had their own code of ethics. I called many friends. They were shooting opponents, and I missed all of them when they passed. Today I see the AA team as point chasers who are more at home at a wine bar than the Beer tent.

Budweiser was the drink of my generation and the current generation seems to be bud lite, Niel Winston should be proud. The characters have left the building. I think this is what trap shooting is today, they have no soul, no shooter for the newbies to inspire to be. That's the real state of trap shooting, a rudderless, soulless bunch that flounder around searching for meaning.
