Barrel work on a O/U???

Hi All,

I would like to know who might be able to do barrel work on a O/U barrel.
It is a donor set of barrels and I want to build a Combo trap gun.

It would be cheaper to just buy something else but I want to try this first.

Any ideas would be great.

what model gun?

 

Some are easier than others to fit a barrel to a receiver & forearm. What is it, and what model.

Its a Remington 3200 Special Trap with a 30in barrel Full/IM.
But I have purchased another barrel that is New Old stock
it must be fitted and the barrel weather its the Top or Bottom be cut and turned into a Single barrel.

I know back in the day it was more common to build these but there must be a few Smiths left out there.

WOW !!! Buy new or use combo. If I were a gunsmith I sure would not want that responsibility.

 

I understand that but, Go to Briley webs site they say they can do all of this, go to Kerry's website he said it can be done on different models.
Long and shot of it I may find someone or not we will see.
