I take it, it was a modified trigger? Being a release trigger guy myself, I purchased a modified trigger for use in my BT100's .... which I kept in...
I believe the allen screw is for trigger sensitivity, not release or pull
I do have a mint shape, low round count BT99 Max, 32", Gracoil and adjustable comb with the browning case and all that came with it new 2 years ago....
