My car is in the shop. Scores and pictures would be helpful. I wish I could be there.

    Enjoy the shoot.

Was only there for about 20 minutes to pick up some powder. This was just before they started on Friday about 1045. Maybe 75 campers and 50-75 cars in lot.

Dustin that view of the Club is one of my favorites at any trap club I ever shot at. My first pay check from a trap shoot came from the 1974 Mid American, I got $88 for a 25 in caps from penalty 23 yards. Setting out in front on the hill and watching shooters used to be really fun.

Middletown is a great club! I didn’t get to go this year due to work but normally shoot some or all of the Mid-American and the Fall Festival. Middletown can hand you your a$$ pretty quick but it also rewards good scores with good payouts. They still embrace the Calcutta event and the 50 target night non-registered money shoot. A little birdie told me they had to DQ Friday’s handicap winner. Something about a long yardage shooter breaking a 98 from the 20 yard line?

One of my favorite clubhouses. Sorry camera and car died on the same weekend.

    Brad,
I don’t know about the former Pres. thing but you got the State correct.

I think his current address was Ohio. The rumor was he moved from Ky. to Ohio and joined ATA again. I was at the shoot and just heard the rumors.

Don the state was just a lucky wild guess on my part. I guessed it on the premises that if you cheat to become ATA delegate and then become ATA president, and claim enough targets over the yeas to be known for cheating you'd be a the top of my list.

I have faith in Danny Ryan and I hope he's the one that caught it.

Danny is great guy! I’m not sure if he is the one that caught it but you can bet he is the one that took care of it. I believe it was handled swiftly enough to not interfere with the payouts. I do not know the name of the shooter. I received a picture of the posted scoresheet but the DQ’d shooter’s line was blacked out. 5E12B8BD-EDCA-4289-B4A9-83E002E90DE9.jpeg

My question is: Did the "other" guys in the squad know the cheating was going on? If so, why were they not ALL DQed?

Looked up that squad......only one guy has targets to speak of.....the others mostly inactive over the past several years.

I can't read it, but as a guy that helps run a shoot I would like to know it.

26.5 yard line on Shooters Information page. No targets shot since 2001.
