NEWPORT SPORTSMEN CLUB will be opening May 19, 2020

The club will be open next Tuesday, May 19, 2020. This first day will be a “practice” run for all the teams who want to participate. For example, if your team normally shoots at 7PM, there will be a trap open for your team at that time. We will also have some traps open for anyone who wants to shoot some practice targets starting at 3PM on that day. We are hoping to start with our normal summer league the following week, May 26, 2020. This was the normal scheduled date for that league. It would be very helpful if someone from each team could contact Wally and let him know your team’s intentions. The bar and kitchen will be open starting on May 19. The club is requesting that you exercise common sense. If you are sick or are afraid of contacting something please stay at home and join in on a later date. Otherwise, dust off the gun, grab some shells and join in on the fun.

 

Good News Dick, Dave told me that last night at Moulton they shot 65 rounds of practice and he didn't know how many rounds the SCTP shot. He said the parking lot looked like the New Year's day shoot.

 

I was at Moultan last night. Nice crowd and it felt good to hear those gun going off. By the way, Moultan will be open every wednesday night for practice shooting. Grab your gun, some shells and join the fun.
