I have been informed the the serial number range is type 3. The iron is definitely type 4. The numbers are matching and probably at one time it was re stamped. I will going to reduce the price to $1375 Shipped. This is a solid R/I.
The serial is a 1972 # and sometime that year the T3 action came into being and that is a T3 action body. The T4 iron didn't show until mid '70's, 76 or so, and the shown iron was likely fitted/numbered to the action then. Hard to say w/out the barrel.
