The model 35420 TT15, for those that have them now, do you like the drop out trigger?
Also, does model come with the two types of drop outs, pull trigger and release trigger?
The TriStar web site has little to no information about the drop out trigger.

You need to send the trigger to Phillips Gunsmithing to get a release made. At least that's what I've been told. $250.

I read a post a few months ago from Phillips, and he said, and I quote; The Tri Star triggers are pretty good. End quote. He even commented on the quality of the gun as being pretty good. I've never seen one, nor shot one so, I can't add my opinion.

I contacted Tri-Star today, and the weight of the Un-single w/drop out trigger is 8.2 lbs

Friend at my club has the first addition. I don’t know much about them but he did let me shoot it and all I remember is there was very little felt recoil. He has had it for two years shooting all the meat shoots and registered around are club and has had no none zilch
    Problems.

I talked to Tri-Star Distributor in Kansas About the Un-single Drop Out nTrigger Model on POI, I asked if higher shooting ribs were availabler, He told me they would set the POI to my specs if I told them what I wanted. This is available to anyone ordering one with their POI specs. You cannot ask for more than that.

My first reply to the OP with pictures of the gun he was talking about got deleted probably because it sounded like promotion of Tristar which I was not. :)
I had posted all guns I checked at SHOT show and IWA shows in the past 10 years in some other sites because easy upload feature for hundred pictures, I'll start post them here next year if any of you are interested.

Anyway, I had lengthy talk with Tristar at the 2016, 2018 SHOT show, they stated very clearly this is an entry level competition gun, not intended to compete with high dollar guns, but their receiver did went through a 100,000 round test. And there's one TT15 shot over 50,000 rounds so far (Jan. 2018).

Here's the gun we talked about at the SHOT show, and they let me too it apart to exam all the features.

I remember a guy who recently bought this gun in 32/34 combo, I think he said he paid something around $1800 for it.
    Good luck shopping.

Auction sites seem to be having them now, back in March none of the combo's were listed
