Does anyone but me think that discharging your firearm out of turn or before you call for the bird should be a lost target? Why should we get to shoot 27 times to break 25 birds?

Why not? Does either of your examples fit the rule book definition of "failure to fire"?

We should break out the rule book///// OH, V-10 tried that on here it does not work. If every one knew the rules, what would they argue about. Roger C.

Our rule reads: If you shoot the house, you repaint it!

Our is: If you happen to shoot the traphouse, help yourself to the gallon of green paint and brush in the closet next to the kitchen.

No, but leaving the safety on or not putting a shell in should be LOST!
