Everyone Draw For Banks!

The Indiana State Shoot was the first large shoot I attended that drew for banks. I do not see why the big shoots cannot do this.

You hear the accusations of favoritism. I am not saying that is true but why not?

If it is impossible I would like to hear why.

 

Drawing for banks is the only fair way, make it where you have to take the draw not pay an additional $20 and get your choice ... If that is the way its going to be let anyone pick and choose , make them pay the additional $20.00 up front so everyone knows or learns how to play the game ... I have seen it happen where many to several shooters do not want to shoot a certain bank, they pay the re squad fee and get to take the pick of the litter ... I have never really felt that was fair in some ways, but it is within the rules and an acceptable practice ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I say it is time for the cardinal to do just that!!! I could care less what bank I shoot but many I talk to are fed up with banks 5 and 6. So before we lose more shooters stop all the complaining and assign banks.

 

The Cardinal should draw I asked Luke to look into this last year for this years shoots.
Draw Starting Banks at the beginning of each event, They only need a starting list of banks posted.

Yes change banks. They do it at Silver Dollar. Can post what bank just before shooting starts. Will still have time to get to your bank.

 

Would it mess up RJ's "system"?

 

After reading about this I have a thought or two:

RJ did the Indiana shoot for several years with drawing for banks so it wouldn't mess his system up.

If we did away with pre-squading, he would lose a chunk of money.

We could still pre-squad and draw for banks but pre-squad would be for shoot time only.

 

RJ runs the Silver Dollar shoots and banks are drawn!

 

There must be something to getting the select banks or some of those in the know would not pay additional money to get to shoot them ... I have seen it happen on many more than one occasion where a squad of the greats (only if in their own mind) would come in, pay the additional fee and select a bank rather than shoot the bank they had drawn ... Could be fun to make them pay and then take a chance re draw , pay again and so forth until they get the bank they want , sooner or later they have to shoot ... I have seen it all when it comes to getting what they want and how they do it ... Leo Harrison III squad at the Spring Grand when it was at the Old Phx Club were not happy with the bank they drew, they approached Leo and he said he was fine with what they got ... They put up the $20 for Leo to re squad also being as he was fine with the draw , he just walked up and broke targets , no problem ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
