Speaking with Monica Brackman IDNR 2:02 pm eastern

I spoke with Monica Brackman, IDNR, at 2:02 pm eastern. I asked her if there was an agreement in place to hold AIM and the grand. She was very polite and specific.

"There are no agreements in place to hold the AIM or grand beyond the MOU that was previously published."

Frankly, I have been able to move on. This is the same MOU and information that was published previously. But for the sake of the forum I spent the quarter for the call.

That is all that is posted and confirmed, nothing more , nothing less ... Nothing else that is posted on any site has been confirmed ... No AIM, No grand to date ... No budget in place to be a part of, maybe 2017 ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

BUT today we have knowledge that the THOF will be moving into their new building...

I guess this is proof enough for me that there will be ATA shooting for eternity at Sparta.

 

There appears to be a lack of interest in up dating any of the sites to Broadcast and grand , nothing absolute that any one can count on ... Seems strange that someone would not recognized the advantages of posting something for sure if there is such a thing ... Have heard rumors and one vendor has stated he does have a confirmation, have to see what happens and when .... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

Could it be there is nothing. Smoke and mirrors.

 

More than likely the case, all the news at 6 ... Just seems strange ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

They do now have building vendors that have signed a one year agreement but the two I talk too have no idea what's going on. They have been assured by the ATA that one way or another there will be a Grand in August at Sparta. They've also been assured their money will be refunded if the Grand does not take place. I would think the ATA is prepared to pay whatever and however they need to too make it happen. I'm sure we'll know everything on or shortly after April 15th.
