    Not sure was this means.

Did the ATA pressure the NRA to sign an extension before they could find out the SCTP and U.S. Open left.?

Did the ATA know the SCTP was leaving? Timing is everything?

Did the NRA pay full price?

    Who is Tom Arvas
    ?

Merlo your answers are. #1 Yes --- #2 Yes --- #3 Yes and #4 Tom Arvas was an NRA board member, but long before that he was an ATA EC member and President of the ATA who had his fingers all over the ATA's move to Sparta. If you read the minutes from the EC board back in the day you see for yourself. Brad

If Winchester is not on property then why would NRA sign up. Not sure who knows what's what here.

The NRA is obviously has some concerns about extending their lease (rental agreement) being as apparently it for one shoot rather than 3 as was anticipated at the on set ... The ATA needs all the sponsor money they can get to kick into the kitty so they can pull off the grand and start gearing up for the following year (2017) well in advance ... It appears to be the fish out of water syndrome ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

NRA supports ALL forms of shooting sports.

If the Glock Rep get's the boot during a shotgun event I would think the NRA would want to investigate this before they get the boot also.

After all, we are ALL into the shooting sports no matter what the discipline.

The NRA does somethings that are on par with some of the things the ATA does, none of which makes much sense ... The NRA had to show a commitment so they probably reluctantly signed an extension as a good faith gesture ( guess at best) to the ATA ... Don't make much sense that nothing has been broadcast to confirm the grand will absolutely be at the facility in 2016 or beyond ... The only things there are were statements by Lynn (Talking Head ) Gipson (shootata.com) that states it has been agreed on as of 02-18-16 ... No mention of negotiations or any particulars what so ever so its any body's guess ... If you call the IDNR they say they will put your name on a list ... I asked if they had that many people signed up for camping spots that they are working off of a list, she said no they are making a list to see if they get enough people to bother once they find out what is happening ... (That makes sense) ... It appears that no body knows anything for sure so its wait and see ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Would be funny if the ATA or IDNR sunk so low as to having to litigate with the NRA. lol Like the Keystone Cops.
