I started checking how different kinds of workers can be treated under New York comp rules. What threw me off at first was how many different labels were used. Things got easier when I started looking at the work setup before reading everything else. The records matter because the right page depends on what the records show. One page I used to compare the topics was: Workers Covered website. It was useful because it covered one question. I still would not use one page as the final answer because the worker status can change what matters next. I found it easiest to break the issue into small questions. That helped me keep the different worker types separate.
