Another "find" as I'm going through my gun room. This is a Sile Walnut "Trap" stock for an 1100 / 870. It's in "as new" condition with checking. pistol grip cap and a nice finish. This would make an economical upgrade/replacement for an existing stock. Asking $150 shipped.
Nice looking stock. I didn't think Sile offered an 870/1100 stock that looked exactly like a factory Remington stock, right down to the Fleur-de-lis pressed checkering, the White diamond inlay in the grip cap, and what looks like that great old RKW finish. The only two Remington 870/1100 Trap stocks made by Sile that I have seen looked like this one. Is it possible, that the stock in your picture is the original stock off the gun and it went in the Sile box for safe keeping after it was replaced with the Sile?
I received a nice PM from the owner thanking me for catching the mistake. He is going to list the stock correctly as a factory stock. I told him he should make sure which type of stock it is before he puts it up.
