I AM IN THE PROCESS OF SELLING MOST OF MY GUNS ABOUT 40 GUNS. I JUST TURNED 85 AND DON'T SHOOT THAT MUCH ANY MORE AND IN A WHEELCHAIR. GOING TO USE THE MONEY TO BUY A HANDICAP VAN TO GO SHOOTING BETWEEN DOCTOR APPOINTMENTS. JUST FINGERING WHICH ONES TO KEEP FOR SHOOTING TRAP AND SPORTING PLUS 1 DOVE GUN IN 28 GA THE REST ARE GOING. IT SEEMS FUNNY AS I SIT HERE DECIDING WHICH ONES I HAVE HAD SOME 60 YEARS AND STILL SHOOT THEM. A KIN TO PICKING ONE OF YOUR CHILDREN IS A FAVORITE WHICH IS ALSO IMPOSSIBLE. SILLY TO BE SO ATTACHED TO A INANIMATE OBJECT I STARTED WITH THE HARDEST TO PART WITH TO GET THE BALL ROLLING MY MODEL 12 TRAP

JUST read BUDDYs post regarding selling of guns. I too am going thru the same situation as I approach number 86 in 2 months. I do have a son who will get all except a few I will sell......Only difference with Buddy and I is my BACK has taken me out of the GAME period! He still shoots and I wish him the best. By the way: Buddy is a long time friend from the Silver Dollar Club in Florida from shooting to TIPPING a few. Not allowed to tell more!!!!! Danny B

It a hard job for sure. Just spent the last nine year cleaning out 38 trap guns. Still regetting some of them.

You’re doing the smart, practical thing. Keep the ones that still make you smile when you pick them up, sell the rest without guilt, and go buy that van.
