I have lots of reports on this one. Was this like a Modern Day Woodstock meets the trap range? I wasn't there but I have heard some very bad reviews.

I need more information on this.

    I report. You decide.

Anyone that wants to can research my warnings about the Cardinal Center, the ATA, and the OSTA. The people running all these organizations have no clue how to promote a trap shoot. Covid is not the problem. Sporting clays is bigger today than ever. Dumb Asses in charge is the problem. The Cardinal Center Was a great Trap shoot 15 years ago. The Osta had people running it that was for the sport. This is sad but predicted BY ME. When the sctp contract runs out I predict a DATA center or some other business gobbling up the land, no way can the shooting facility make it today. Austa Lavista, it was fun while it lasted.

I post this as someone that was there when Jack first built the place, from day one. I was an OSTA board member, OSTA President and Tournament Director for both the Ohio State Shoot and the Cardinal Center for a few years. I pushed the OHIO HOF building on here and on there commie site for years and saw it funded and built. Sad I can't support any of these today. I am not that hypocrite that seems to infest trap shooters today. The shooters I grew up around and shot with and against for the most had my respect. I couldn't stand to be around the ones shooting today,

Getting rid of Jake was really bad move, guess that's more apparent today than last week. Bye

Is the place big enough that it would support a flea market...?

Thank you Daniel for the complete response. It ia a business and must generate income. Austin and your crew are working very hard to turn things around. The biggest problem that all the trap shooters are unhappy about is the lack of upkeep and money spent to keep the trap shooting grounds the in the condition it was when Karen and Jack were involved. There appears to no funds being spent since the passing of Jack. A few upgrades would go a long way to getting a lot of shooters to return. For example, fix the road (drive way on the trapline). It has been in terrible condition since Jack's passing. The shooters see no money being spent to get the grounds back to wonderful condition, therefore many shooters will not support the Cardinal. Spend some funds and you will see an increase in support of the Cardinal. Again, thanks for your input.

Another MAJOR improvement would be to fix all the potholes in the campgrounds. Some of the holes have been there for years with nothing being fixed. There was a tractor with a box grader setting on the west end of the camp grounds. A day spent with this equipment would show you really want to see the folks use the campgrounds. You keep raising the prices, but never show any "thank you".

I am raising the BS Flag
We didn't care about pot holes at the tri-state. We were worried about an avalanche or driving over the high wall. There was money to be won.

We didn't go to Vandalia because it was a great place to park our RVs. There was money to be won.

The OSTA is more concerned about kicking each other out of the HOF and filtering who is allowed to ask questions at meetings. And screw the By-laws. And firing each other.

The OSTA leadership has crumbled. Jack had a lot of leaders helping him. Those that followed have let the Cardinal Center down. I wouldn't give the OSTA a contract until they can show they can fill the place again.

Joe Charnigo has shown what happens with leadership teamwork and effort.

Keep the music. Ditch the losers.

I hear it was one helluva party. Lots of booze and whacky tobacky. The OSTA doesn't even have a beer tent.

Mixed bag attendees probably had a solid time with the lineup, but locals are furious over all night bass rattling their houses. More annoying neighbor party than full Woodstock disaster.
