I purchased this gun from my friend Harvey last week, I have decided its not for me and kept my word to Harvey and purchased it. I have to decided to re-sell it. Additionally, I contacted him and recieved his permission to reuse his pictures and ad. This gun was never fired by me at all- This Bowen trap gun is as close to new as you will find. It has a 34" barrel which is shown with both an add on rib as well as the standard rib with the base in place-which can be removed. It comes with the factory case, tools and release trigger parts-pull trigger is presently in the gun. The stock has a toe out configuration for a right-hand shooter. The LOP is 14 1/4" to the end of the 3/4" pad. $9400 delivered.
Tony, as I said, I never shot it. As I am to understand without the add-a-rib and flatter rib they are supposed to be between 80/20 and 100%. for me to know I would be only guessing,
If you take the barrel off and flip it over on the bottom of the mono block, there should be a stamping you can take a picture and post that you will be able to find out what the point of impact is for the factory rib
my apologies the stamping isn’t on the bottom of the mono block. It’s on the bottom of the barrel, but I don’t see it on the bottom of your barrel. This is what it should look like. The iron cross with 4 numbers. I’ve never seen one just stamped like yours. What is the number on the side plate?
Sideplate number is #1945 and name Bill Christie a Michigan shooter, that number is on every part of the gun.
This gun sold a few weeks ago at auction in Michigan, I made an attempt to purchase it but got distracted and lost out.

That appears to be a #2 rib, 80/20. The 21 is the shop mark, it's used to keep track of the main parts (action, monoblock, rib ramp, barrel, etc) before serial number is added upon purchase of gun by customer. JDS
Gun is back to original condition without the Add-a-Rib (Thank God) - I was told here by DUKH10 he worked on it and Kevin has told me as well, Barrel is 80/20 POI- I will say, Add-a-Rib is correct when saying you can take it with no harm to your guns rib. Let's reduce this baby to $9200 shipped
