clay dot powder

    Is clay dot and clays powder close enough to substitute one for the other?

    Close enough - in what aspect? Probably best to get a load from their website.

    was loading 15.9 gr clays, 7/8 oz shot in rem sts hull win primer and waa12s wad (which i have 6000).Alliant does not have a load for that wad for 7/8 and told me i would have to load 1oz. and Im afraid to try it.

    The one load I was loading called for 17.6 grns. on both. They however were different bushings.

    So, that is pretty close.

    stl, what wad were you using? was that for 7/8oz?
