I've been advised by Trap & Field that they do not have records regarding the oldest shooter to break all 200 targets during the Grand American Handicap tournament. I too, have not kept records on this subject and don't recall that I've ever seen it reported. Trap & Field did recall that Mr. Kay Ohye, at the age of 84, did break 200 at the 2024 GAH and that he was older than Mr. Dave Berlet.

Mr. Ohye was one of the many 200's in 2024 and settled for the Sr. Veteran award after a 24 carry over in the NRA Singles event.

Does anyone know of a GAH 200 straight by an older shooter?

Actually Kay broke what they consider (200) when it was (100) on Saturday and another (100) on Sunday In the (NRA) event which is a completely different thing than breaking (200) in a one day 200 target program. If that is considered a 200 would any time someone broke 100 2 days in a row be considered a 200? A lot of shooters have broke 100 straight singles 2 days in a row, while many of these same shooters have never broke a (200) straight in a legitimate 200 target 1 day program. One of my goals has always been to break 100, 200 straights which I will never be able to attain as I am now setting at I believe 85 200's. If I could count breaking 100 2 days in a row I would be well past the 100 mark. Just stop and look at how this would have pumped the totals of some of the great singles over the years such as Ray, Leo, Brad, Phil, Bob, and the list could go on for many others. Just stating my thoughts.
