Did ya ever hear that saying, "Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out"? A draft is what the people feel when that person opens the door. Well, that and the MULTI, MULTI, MILLION DOLLAR event the NFL puts on every year. I just hope all the cleaning up the city did around here will to be a normal maintenance schedule. I doubt it but it would be nice. And before the, I don't watch the National Felons League, people chime in, Shamus and I were shooting somewhere EVERY Sunday when that was the only day they played. We used to tell people we didn't know if the ball was full of air or stuffed with feathers. I haven't watched even a minute of any game in since I started to register targets in 1976.
Shamus also said he knew how to make baseball more interesting. When a player got a hit, let him carry the bat around the bases as he ran. That was 48 years ago, and I still laugh out loud every time I think of it.
